Mary A. Longo Riccardo, 87, of Dunmore, died Saturday at home.

She was the wife of Salvatore E. Riccardo, who died in 1984.

Daughter of the late Ralph and Marianne Lawrence Longo, Mary was a graduate of Dunmore High School, class of January 1945.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Caramel Parish and its Altar and Rosary Society.

Before Mary's retirement, she was employed by the Lackawanna Medical Group in the medical records department.

She was also a member of the Dunmore Senior Center and the 50+ Club.

She is survived by three sons, Dominick and wife, Linda, Scranton; James and wife, Karen, Carlisle; and Robert, with whom she resided; her brother, Ralph and wife, Nancy, Scranton; grandchildren, Nicholas and Steven, Wilkes-Barre; Andrew and Evan, both of Carlisle; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judy, in 2004; a grandson, Michael, who died in 2009; and three brothers, Edward, Anthony, who was her twin; and Joseph Polish.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Morell-LaBelle Funeral Home, 301 Chestnut St., Dunmore, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 322 Chestnut St., Dunmore.

Entombment, Cathedral Cemetery.

Friends may call today from 4 to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
