Mary D. Del Rosso, 89, of Dunmore, died Thursday evening at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis N. Del Rosso Sr., in 1976.

Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late Dominick and Theresa Rotondo Di Cindio, she was a graduate of Dunmore High School and went on to attend local business school. Before retirement, she was employed at the Tobyhanna Army Depot. A loving person, her greatest joy was caring for people, especially her devoted family. She was a loyal member of the SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish in Dunmore.

Surviving are sons, Louis N. Del Rosso Jr. and wife, Mary Kay, Scranton; and Joseph L. Del Rosso and wife, Yvonne, Lake Ariel; grandchildren, Kate Del Rosso, Scranton; Louis Del Rosso and fiancée, Brittany, Scranton; Tanya Smith, who was also her dedicated caregiver, Dunmore; Mario Del Rosso and wife, Erika, Clarks Summit; Nicholas Del Rosso and wife, Kelly, Elmhurst; Dominick Del Rosso and wife, Amy, Dunmore; Nicole Mauder, Scranton; and Sean Mauder and fiancée, Jenna, Hawley; great-grandchildren, Emma, Kaylee, Brennen, Connor, Erin, Madelyn, Lumen and Andrew; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by sons, Nicholas J. and Dominick Del Rosso; a daughter, Mary Lou Del Rosso-Miller; her sisters, Josephine Strauskulage and Rose Galucci; and brothers, Michael and Anthony Di Cindio.

The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude for the outstanding care provided to Mary by the staff of Traditional Home Health and Hospice.

The funeral will be Monday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Smith Street, Dunmore. Interment, St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow.
