Mary E. Jordan, 94, of Archbald, died Thursday at VNA Hospice at Geisinger Community Medical Center. She was the widow of Maj. Roy E. Jordan, who died in 1962.

Born in Jessup on Oct. 23, 1919, daughter of the late Margaret and Martin Walsh, she was a member of Christ the King Parish, Archbald. She was a graduate of Jessup High School and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and served in the Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam wars.

Surviving are a daughter, Elena DeStefano and husband, Bill, Archbald; a sister, Jean Gentilotti, Jessup; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Timothy; two brothers, Martin and Ray Walsh; and a sister, Margaret Hart.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. from the Harrison Funeral Home, 374 N. Main St., Archbald, with Mass at 1 in Christ the King Parish/St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Blakely.
