Midge Lee, 89, Scranton, died Friday in the VNA Hospice Unit in Geisinger Community Medical Center after a brief illness. She was the wife of Donald Lee, who died March 12, 1985.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Orville and Frances Brown DePew. Midge worked at the F.W. Woolworth store in Keyser Oak Plaza from opening day until it closed its doors, approximately 35 years. She was a member of the former Puritan Congregational Church.

Surviving are two sons, Donald and wife, Carolyn, Scranton; and Douglas and wife, Judy, Scott Twp.; a daughter, Diane Brown, Scranton; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Frances Vandenburg, Binghamton, N.Y.; a number of nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Betty, Dorothy, Ruth, Alice and Cora; and brothers, Orville, Paul and Clarence.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Bomberger-Lesko Funeral Home Inc., 1660 N. Main Ave., Scranton.

The family will receive friends from 6 until service time.
