Nancy Leitner, 71, of Scranton, died Friday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John Hogan and Catherine Kerrigan Hogan Schweitzer. She attended West Scranton High School and worked for many years at the Charl-Mont and Shooky's restaurants.
Nancy was a generous and deeply loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who left a smile every place she went. Her children were the love of her life, and she loved to share her laughter and kindness with everyone. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to thank her dear friend, Rosie Isbitski, for her daily care and concern; and Dr. Sheela Prahalad for almost 30 years of excellent care.
Surviving are a daughter, Tiffany Leitner, Scranton; a son, Jason Jervis and wife, Erin, of Eynon; two brothers, Jim Hogan of Butler; and Jack Hogan, Scranton; a sister, Helen Hogan Condrad, Eynon; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by an infant son, Joseph; and three sisters, Marie Durdan, Teresa and Kay Hogan.
The funeral will be Monday from the Neil W. Regan Funeral Home Inc., 1900 Pittston Ave., Scranton, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Parish at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 429 Church St., Archbald, celebrated by the Rev. Christopher Sahd, pastor. Interment, private at the convenience of the family. The family requests that those attending the funeral on Monday proceed directly to the church.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m.
