Olga Pregmon Kundla

Olga Pregmon Kundla, 96, of Clarks Summit and formerly of Dupont, died Thursday. Her husband, Joseph, died Feb. 14, 1989.

Born in Old Forge on April 26, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Konstentin and Mary Bubernak Peregrim Pregmon. Olga was a graduate of Newton High School and Bloomsburg State Teachers College, now Bloomsburg University. Prior to retirement, she taught at the Newton-Ransom and Abington Heights school districts. Olga was a faithful and devoted parishioner of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, Pittston.

Surviving are two brothers, Walter Pregmon, with whom she resided, and Michael Pregmon and wife, Marie, Wyomissing; and nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Andrew, Thomas, Stephen and John; and two infant sisters.

The funeral will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor, followed by the Office of Christian Burial with Divine Liturgy at 10:30 in St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, 205 N. Main St., Pittston, to be celebrated by the Rev. Gary Mensinger. Interment, parish cemetery. Friends may call Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
