Patricia A. Farrell Captor, 76, of Monroe, Conn., died Friday at home. She was the beloved wife of Russell B. Captor for 54 years.

Born in Peckville, she grew up in Justus and graduated from Keystone Junior College. She attended Sacred Heart University. Mrs. Captor was a longtime member and very active in the Episcopal Church in Pennsylvania and Connecticut. She volunteered with St. Paul's Family Table for eight years, feeding 80-100 nursing home residents monthly. She worked as an administrative assistant for many companies, including Raymark, Eaton Corp., Acellis, General Electric and Bridgeport Hospital.
She is also survived by her daughters, Renee S. Captor and husband, James Greenwald, Syracuse, N.Y.; and Kim J. Captor and husband, Patrick Smith, Trumbull, Conn.; and three grandchildren, Casey and Molly Smith; and Daliah Greenwald.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 25 Church St., Shelton, Conn., with the Rev. Jennings Matheson, officiating. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
Friends may call Wednesday, 4 to 8 p.m., in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
