Patricia A. Kearsh, 61, of Archbald, formerly of Jessup, died Wednesday at Commonwealth Home Health and Hospice after an illness. She was the widow of Greg Kearsh, who died Sept. 16, 2007.

Born in Jessup, she was the daughter of Susan Youshock Slachta of Jessup; and the late Stephen Slachta and stepfather, Mario Noverini. She graduated from Jessup High School and Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where she received a degree in merchandising and fashion buying. She was employed as a visiting nurse and at Patty's Daycare in Archbald. She resided in Archbald for most of her life after moving from Jessup. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Peckville, and a former CCD teacher.
She was a kind and caring wife, daughter, mother and grandmother whose life revolved around her family.
Also surviving are two sons, Justin Vasile and wife, Heather O'Boyle, Blakely; and Derick Kearsh and companion, Leanne, Olyphant; a sister, Janice Symes and husband, Dilwyn, West Chester; and four grandchildren, Autumn, Colby, Brayden and Isabella Vasile.
The funeral will be Saturday from the Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, 511 Church St., Jessup, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Peckville. Interment private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
