Patricia Margaret Haab, 79, of Canadensis, died Monday morning while under hospice care in her home. She was the widow of Dr. Walter Haab, who died May 17, 1997.

Born on Feb. 12, 1934, in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Daisy Baranzelli Grosso. She lived in Santa Monica, Calif., Edmonton, Canada and Switzerland before moving to Pennsylvania in 1960. She was the president of PRF&L Inc. and was a Rotarian.
Patricia enjoyed horses, dressage competitions, cooking, painting, hunting and horticulture.
Surviving are a son, Rudy Haab of Canadensis; three grandchildren, Jake Haab of Canadensis; Kyle Haab of State College; and Cory Haab of Canadensis; and two great-grandchildren, Riley and Trent.
Private graveside services and burial will take place at the convenience of the family at Laurelwood Cemetery in Stroudsburg.
There will be no viewing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to C.A.M.E. of Canadensis, PO Box 434, Canadensis, PA 18325 or to the G.D.S. Fair in Newfoundland.
