Patrick W. Montana, 72, of Dunmore, died Sunday morning in Allied Skilled Nursing Center, Scranton.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Patrick and Jenny Sica Montana and was a member of SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish, Dunmore. He was a graduate of Dunmore High School.
Known by many as "Junior," he was a proud member of the National Guard. In his younger years, he was a talented hairdresser and drummer who played in many local bands. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his friends in Dunmore, especially at Dunmore Corners. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Allied Skilled Nursing Center fourth floor for all of their care and compassion.
Surviving are two sisters, Rose Marie Lynott and companion, Wayne Phillips; and Carmella Castellano and husband, Vincent, all of Scranton; two brothers, Anthony Montana and wife, Mary Lou; and Mario Montana and wife, Marian, all of Dunmore; an uncle, Samuel Sica, Dunmore; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be Wednesday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, 118 Kurtz St., Dunmore. Interment, Dunmore Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
