Paul J. Bradley, 71, of Carbondale, died Saturday morning at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Patrick Brennan, Carbondale. His wife of 52 years is the former Rosalie DeFazio.

Born in Carbondale, son of the late Paul and Rose Falbo Bradley, he was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale, and a Eucharistic minister for the church. For many years, Paul was employed by the former Globe Fashion, Carbondale. For many years, he was associated with the Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Homes, Carbondale. He was also employed by West Lake United. Paul graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in 1959.
Surviving are two daughters, Kimberly Striefsky and husband, Andrew, Forest City; and Paula Brennan and husband, Patrick, Carbondale; three grandchildren, Patrick, Bradley and Alex Brennan; Mallory Nykaza, who was like a granddaughter; a brother, James Bradley, Carbondale; nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two sons, Paul and James.
The family would like to thank Home Health Care Professionals, especially his nurse, Donna Borosky and his niece, Debbie Merrick, who took such good care during his illness.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home, 2 Hospital St., Carbondale, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.
