Paul J. Kelly, 80, of Archbald, died Monday at Regional Hospital of Scranton. He was the husband of Mary Ann Dolphin Kelly. They were married for 55 years.

Born in Archbald on June 25, 1932, son of the late Edwin and Genevieve Dougher Kelly, he was a member of Christ the King Parish, Archbald, and a member of its Holy Name Society. He served in the Army 11th Airborne Division in the Korean War.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his friends. He enjoyed taking vacations with the McGees and Ratchfords to Ocean City, Md.

Also surviving are a son, attorney P. Timothy and wife, Lexie, Clarks Summit; a daughter, Ann and husband, John Harder, Reston, Va.; a daughter-in-law, Laurie Kelly, Archbald; a brother, Robert J. Kelly, Duryea; two sisters, Patsy Brechtel and Ann Ellen Brunori, both of Archbald; and eight grandchildren, Rhys, James, Abby and Katie Kelly, Matthew, Daniel, Megan and Erin Harder.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Dr. Patrick Kelly; and a grandson, Timmy Kelly.

The funeral will be Friday at 9 a.m. from the Harrison Funeral Home, 374 N. Main St., Archbald, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Christ the King Parish at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Archbald. Interment, St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow.
