Pauline "Penny" Williams, 76, of Clifford Twp., died Friday morning upon arrival at Mid-Valley Hospital, Blakely, after being stricken ill at home. She was the wife of Thomas R. Williams. They were married on May 19, 1956.

Born Oct. 7, 1936, in Forest City, daughter of the late Wasyl and Mary Milnuchuk Evanishyn, she and her husband operated a dairy farm in Clifford Twp. for many years before retirement. She had been a member of Bethel Congregation at Welsh Hill Church and enjoyed gardening, bird watching and spending time in the outdoors enjoying nature.
She cherished her time spent with her grandson and great-grandson.
Also surviving are two daughters, Cindy Rindock and husband, Mike, Clifford Twp.; and Jody Pendle and husband, Matthew, Fallsington, Pa.; a grandson, Thomas Rindock; a great-grandson, Seth Rindock; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Gary Williams; two brothers, Walter and Michael Evanishyn; and four sisters, Mary Steponaitis, Anna Wolfe, Elizabeth Scott and Stella Kloptosky.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, with the Rev. James Major, pastor of Watson Hill Bible Church, officiating. Interment, Welsh Hill Cemetery, Clifford Twp.
