Premetta Skerbetz, 91, of Tunkhannock, died Saturday evening at Geisinger Wyoming Valley after an illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Skerbetz.

Born Dec. 10, 1920, in Library, Pa., daughter of the late Primo and Mary Boff Bastianini, she formerly worked for the Pennsbury School District, Fairless Hills, as a school bus driver and cafeteria worker. She was a member of Tunkhannock Presbyterian Church and the ladies Bible study group.
She enjoyed doing crewel embroidery and jigsaw puzzles. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Noreen Shoemaker, Tunkhannock; and Carol Hoffman and husband, Don, Perkasie; grandchildren, Jason, Lindsay, Jared and Frank; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Abigail, Claire, Delaney, Jack, Zoe, Miles and Adam; two sisters, Irene Yelenchic and Mary Kappy; and a brother, Robert Bastianini.
She was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
