Richard A. Parisi

Richard A. Parisi, 66, of Scranton, died Friday at Geisinger Community Medical Center after an illness. His wife is the former April Andrews.
Born in Staten Island, N.Y., son of the late Cosimo and Mary E. D'Andrea Parisi, and stepson of Frances Parisi, Staten Island, he was an 18-year employee of ConEdison in New York City; and before retirement, he was employed by the Wheaton Glass Co., Wheaton, N.J. He enjoyed playing cards and board games. He also enjoyed traveling and his many trips to England.
Also surviving are two daughters, Dawn Marie Stevens, Alloway, N.J.; and Shannon Parisi, Rosenhayn, N.J.; two sons, Richard Parisi Jr., Rosenhayn, N.J.; and Randy Parisi, Bridgeton, N.J.; four grandchildren; 28 nieces and nephews, two stepsisters, Angie Corley, Tennessee; and Irene Sutton, Staten Island; and a stepbrother, John Sutton, Staten Island.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
The funeral will be Tuesday with services at 1 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church, 20 N. Church St., Carbondale, by the Rev. Doug Posegate, pastor.
Friends may call Tuesday at the church from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. As per his request, cremation will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the
