Ronald J. Foytack, 80, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died Saturday in Geisnger Community Medical Center, Scranton. His wife is Gladys D. Keisling Foytack. The couple was married 30 years.

Born in Scranton, son of the late John and Elsie Mursch Foytack, he was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. He had served in the Army as a cook. Ronald was a steamfitter with Local Union 524, Scranton, with over 40 years of active service. He was of the Catholic faith.

Also surviving are step-daughters, Norma Kedulick, Duryea; and Janice Lepisko, Vermont; stepsons, Gary Wenzel, Boston.; and Thomas Wenzel, New Mexico; a sister, Dorothy Sweeney, Scranton; a brother, Paul Foytack and wife, Kathryn, Tennessee; stepgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Savino Wenzel Foytack in 1970; and brothers, Jake, Edward, Charles, Francis and William.

Services will be private at a later date.
