Salvatore J. Olfano, 38, of Peckville, died Wednesday night at Golden Living Center, Scranton.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Cathy Arnone London and the late Joseph Ross Olfano Jr. Salvatore was educated in Mid Valley Schools.

He is also survived by his stepfather, Edward J. London Jr., Olyphant; two sisters, Cathie Jo and husband, Keith Langan, Throop; and Kimberly and husband, Edward Meehan, Olyphant; one brother, Sgt. 1st Class Michael Cieslikowski and wife, Leann, Fort Hood, Texas; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was also preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Joseph Ross Olfano Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Arlene Jones Olfano and Salvatore J. Arnone.

Services will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. from the John F. Glinsky Funeral Home, 445 Sanderson St., Throop, by the Rev. John Berkebile. Burial at the convenience of the family. Calling hours, Sunday, 2 to 4.
