Susan Klopfer, 66, of Scott Twp., died Wednesday at Hospice Community Care, Dunmore. Her husband is Philip Klopfer. They were married for 24 years.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Stephen and Alice Mikloiche Swika, she attended St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Archbald, and was a graduate of Blakely High School. Her favorite times were spent with her loving family and her dog, Ralphie.

Surviving are a son, Jeffrey Itterly and wife, Iwona, of Connecticut; a granddaughter, Octavia Itterly; three brothers, Stephen Swika II, Montdale; Robert and wife, Mary Helen Swika, Jessup; and Richard and wife, Linda Swika, Peckville; a brother-in-law, Ronald Klopfer and Gary, Delaware; a sister-in-law, Nancy and Corky Kashuba, Justus; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Main and Bank streets, Archbald, by the Rev. C. Albert Wagaman, pastor. Interment will be private in Valley View Memorial Park, Montdale, at the convenience of the family.

Friends may call at the church from 9:30 until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Road, South Abington Twp., PA 18411.
