Suzanne E. Janesko, 67, of the Greenwood section of Moosic, died Sunday at Scranton Health Care.

Born in Scranton on Dec. 26, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Susan Shanoski Godeck and was a 1963 graduate of Taylor Moosic High School. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Stanislaus Polish National Catholic Cathedral. Through the years, she worked as a merchandise coordinator for numerous shopping centers.

Her grandchildren were the center of her life and she enjoyed reading, doing word puzzles and playing with her dog, Daisy.

Surviving are a son, Rick J. Janesko and wife, Christine; a daughter, Kimberly A. Orloski and husband, Bruce; five grandchildren, Kelsey, Joseph and Jason Janesko; Zachary and Chase Orloski, all of Moosic; a brother, Robert Godeck and wife, Rose Ann, Moscow; a niece and nephews.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor, followed by Mass at 10:30 in Holy Mother of Sorrows Polish National Catholic Church, 212 Wyoming Ave., Dupont, by the Rev. Zbigniew Dawid. Interment St. Stanislaus Polish National Catholic Cemetery, Minooka section of Scranton.
