Veronica A. Pepe, 65, of Exeter, died on Saturday morning at her home. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Thomas Pepe.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Veronica Kowalski Kowanick. She was a graduate of West Scranton High School. Veronica was a member of St. Barbara Parish at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter, where she volunteered as a CCD teacher. Before her retirement, she was employed as a bank teller with the PNC Bank, West Pittston.
Also surviving are daughters, Pamela and her husband, Frank Braccini, West Pittston; and Ann and her husband, Brian Cook, Jenkins Twp.; grandchildren, Victoria, F.J. and Brianna Braccini; and Matthew and Gianna Cook; a brother, Walter and his wife, Patricia Kowanick, Scranton; a sister, Judith and her husband, John Orr, Scranton; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 at St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 28 Memorial St., Exeter. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
