William "Bill" Henry Rutecki, age 82, of The Villages, Fla., died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, surrounded by his loving family and pastor. He was born February 21, 1932, in Philadelphia, Pa. He moved to The Villages 11 years ago from Clarks Summit, Pa. and was a member of Village of Faith Baptist Church.

Bill was previously employed as an engineer at Chamberlain Corporation in Scranton, Pa. He was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Korean War and earned several medals and letters of commendation for his service. A man of great faith, he was dedicated to studying and teaching the Bible and also wrote extensively on Biblical theology.
Bill was survived by his wife, Natalie H. Rutecki of The Villages, Fla.; sons, William J. Rutecki of Hanover, Md.; Richard A. Rutecki and wife, Noelle of Lake Forest, Calif.; daughter, Andrea Rutecki-Gibson and husband, Marcus of Panama City Beach, Fla.; and was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Donna Marie Rutecki. Grandchildren are Lindsey and Luke Rutecki and Jakob Gibson. Also survived by four half-brothers and a deceased. He was a loving, faithful and dedicated husband and father.
Funeral services will be at Village of Faith Baptist Church, 8653 CR 127, Wildwood, Fla., on Monday, May 12. Visitation is at 10 a.m. and memorial service at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Village of Faith Baptist Church building fund.
