William T. Lonsdorf, 81, of Dunmore, and a former resident of Seal Beach, Calif., for 25 years, died April 12, in Geisinger-Community Medical Center in Scranton.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Frank Leo and Margaret Burrell Lonsdorf, he was an Army veteran, serving during the Korean War and had studied at the Maryknoll Monastery. He will be remembered for his great love of family and strong faith.

Surviving are a sister, June A. Guimento and husband, Robert, Dunmore, with whom he resided; a brother, Arthur J. Lonsdorf II and wife, Sara, Scranton; nieces, nephews and great-nephews.

He was also preceded in death by siblings, Arthur, who died as a child; Frank L. and Elizabeth "Betty."

A private graveside service with military honors was held in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow.
