Warren Paul "Pop" Davis, 85, formerly of Dalton, died Saturday, Sept. 29, in Riverside Rehabilitation Nursing Home, Taylor.

Born in Olyphant, son of the late David G. and Evelyn Whitbeck Davis, he and his family moved to Waverly, where he was educated. Before retirement, he was employed as a supervisor for Sprague and Henwood Co. of Scranton.
He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He was also an expert marksman, competing in and winning many trap shooting contests both locally and in different areas of the East Coast.
Surviving are a sister, Marjorie Black, Waverly; nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Gow Phillips; two brothers, John D. and Ralph; and a nephew, Lee Gow.
Private funeral services were conducted.
