Janice Hudson, 88, of Jermyn, died Sunday in Mid-Valley Hospital, Blakely. Her husband, Philip Hudson Sr., preceded her in death.
Born in Montrose, daughter of the late Joseph and Flavia Emmons Ritter., she was a member of Primitive Methodist Church, Jermyn. She was a nurse's aide at Mid-Valley Hospital before retirement.
She is survived by two sons, Philip, Jermyn; and John, Dunmore; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Sommerville; a brother, Albert Ritter; and a grandson, Philip Hudson.
The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Battenberg Funeral Home, 363 Washington Ave., Jermyn.
Friends may call Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m.
