Mary Del Monte, 94, of Old Forge, died Tuesday at Riverside Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Old Forge, daughter of the late Phillip and Julia Morgan Talerico, she attended Old Forge public schools and was a member of Prince of Peace Parish in Old Forge. Before retirement, she was employed in the local garment industry and at Club 17 in Old Forge. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and aunt who enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and going to casinos, and will be deeply missed.
Surviving are two daughters, Julia A. Kresefski and Ann Marie Hughes, both of Old Forge; nine grandchildren, Raymond Kresefski Jr. and wife, Barbara; Julie Ann Talarico and husband, Joseph; Phillip Kresefski and wife, Diane; Mark Kresefski, David Kresefski; Colleen Nelson and husband, Bill; Robert Hughes, Mary Ellen Wedlock; and Paula Finn and husband, Pat; 15 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Rita Balzano and husband, James, Easton; son-in-law, Paul Wedlock; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis M. Wedlock; a brother, John Talerico; and a sister, Lucille Linnen.
The funeral will be Saturday with Mass of Christian Burial at noon in St. Mary of the Assumption Church at Prince of Peace Parish, West Grace and Lawrence streets, Old Forge. Interment, Old Forge Cemetery.
