Mary A. McNulty Bewick, 91, of Dunmore, died Sunday evening in Mountain View Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick J. Bewick Sr., in 1990.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Charles and Mary Scott McNulty, she was a graduate of Dunmore High School.
A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she had also formerly operated Bewick's Service Station in Dunmore for many years with her late husband. She was a dedicated volunteer with the Moses Taylor Hospital Auxiliary, Holy Family Residence and at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, where she was also a member of the church and its societies.
The family wishes to extend its gratitude to the staff of Mountain View Care Center, Scranton, Manor and Traditional Hospice, as well as to her caregivers, Rose Baas and Vita Morgan.
Surviving are a daughter, Maggie Ferraro and husband, Sam, Archbald; sons, Gary Bewick and wife, Mary Ann, Dunmore; and Brian Bewick and wife, Dr. Kristin, Moscow; grandchildren, Charles Bewick and wife, Christina; Jaclyn, Safira, Patrick III and Hannah Bewick; and Dr. Maria Ferraro and husband, Keith Garubba; a daughter-in-law, Geraldine Featherby, Elmhurst; nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Patrick Bewick Jr.; and a sister, Ann Mooney.
The funeral will be Thursday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church, Chestnut Street, Dunmore. Interment, Dunmore Cemetery.
Friends may Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
