Deborah Ann Bordeos of Dalton died Monday at Gesinger Community Medical Center. She was the wife of Manuel Bordeos. The couple celebrated 33 years of marriage May 10.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Patricia Nichols Tripp, Dalton, and the late Foster Tripp. She was a member of Hyde Park Presbyterian Church, educated in Lackawanna Trail public schools and a graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School. Deborah was employed for several years at Keystone City Residence. Being at the residence and helping the children brought great joy to Deborah.
She enjoyed arts and crafts, and was a loving wife, daughter, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed.
Also surviving are one brother, Walter Tripp, Dalton; one sister, Pamela Hegedus, Scranton; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Manuel Lee Bordeos.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. in the Davies & Jones Funeral Chapel, 135 S. Main Ave., Scranton, with services by the Rev. Arthur Davis, pastor of Asbury United Methodist Church. Interment, private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Sunday, 4 to 6.
