Stephen M. Bazur Jr., 69, of Clarks Summit, died Jan. 16 at the Regional Hospital of Scranton special care unit.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Stella Kucz Bazur, he was a graduate of West Scranton High School and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Before retirement, he was employed at Procter & Gamble. He was a member of the American Ukrainian Veterans Association, the Nativity Social Club and American Legion Post 207, Scranton.

Stephen was a beloved father and grandfather and enjoyed spending his time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Langan and husband, Christopher, Clarks Summit; grandchildren, Christopher and Morgan Langan; a brother, Robert Bazur and wife, Janet, Scranton; and nieces.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Bazur.

A blessing service and military tribute by American Legion Post 207 will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Nicholas Chomko Funeral Home, 1132 Prospect Ave., Scranton, by the Rev. Scott P. Sterowski.

Friends may call Sunday, 2 to 3. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dalton Food Pantry, Dalton United Methodist Church, 125 S. Turnpike Road, Dalton, PA 18414.
