Patricia Ellen Diskin of Pittsburgh, formerly of Scranton, died Friday.

She was a graduate of St. Paul High School and spent three years at Marywood College. She completed her education at Mount Mercy College (Carlow) in Pittsburgh. Patricia was employed as an executive secretary with U.S. Steel Corp. until her retirement.
Daughter of the late Michael and Helen Diskin; she was the sister of Michael K. Diskin (late Lois), Donald Diskin (Ellen) and the late James Diskin (Dianne); also survived by nieces, Ellen Gualtieri (Carmen), Kathleen Diskin, Maureen Diskin (Larry), Lisa Durham (John); and nephews, Michael K. Diskin, Mark Diskin (Dorothy), Patrick Diskin (Stacey), James Diskin (Sharon), and Daniel Diskin (Margaret).
Patricia had an unconditional love of family her entire life. She was compassionate and willingly donated years volunteering and serving others in need. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Cathedral and loved her church.
Friends will be received at John A. Freyvogel Sons Inc., 4900 Centre Ave. at Devonshire Street (www.freyvogel funeralhome.com) on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.. Funeral Monday with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, Pittsburgh.
