Carolyn Boris Visbisky, a resident of Dickson City, died Monday morning. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Visbisky, in 2008.

Born in Dickson City, daughter of the late Walter and Anna Wierykas Boris, she was a long-standing member of St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City, and its choir. She was a graduate of Dickson City High School and the University of Scranton. She was the owner of Visbisky Plumbing.

Surviving are four children, Gail Kuchwara, David Visbisky, Lynda Rojek and Alaina Dietz; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Janice Zuerblis.

The funeral will be Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., with Mass at 9:30 in St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Dickson City.
