Harold A. Grow, 93, of Tunkhannock, died Tuesday at home. His wife, the former Maryon Harvey, died in 1997.

Born in Jenningsville on April 15, 1920, son of the late Samuel and Sadie Farr Grow, he worked for Bartron Supply Inc. as a mechanic and sales rep for the majority of his life. He was a Wyoming County commissioner for 12 years, and he earned a lifetime achievement award from the Wyoming County Conservation District for 20 years of service. Harold was a well-known face at Bartron Supply Inc., where he was an employee for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, a member of the Masons and a member of the Rotary Club. He was part of the Cooperative Farm Game Program for 14 years and an Eaton Twp. supervisor. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, antique tractors, steam locomotives and spending time with family and friends. He was also a member of the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church.
Surviving are sons, Ronnie and wife, Joan Zalewski, Tunkhannock; Steve and wife, Debbie Grow, Factoryville; and Tom and wife, Linda Zalewski, Tunkhannock; daughter, Linda and husband, Fred Miller, Factoryville; 16 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth Miner, Mildred Champion and Agetha Bullock.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with the Rev. Peter F. Geschwindner of the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be at the Sunnyside Cemetery.
