Lewis L. Noble, 72, of Springville, died Wednesday at Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock. His wife is the former Irene Failing.

Born in Springville, son of the late George and Edna Ellis Noble, he was a retired dairy farmer and a director of the Lynn Cemetery.

Lewis is also survived by a son, Jeffery and wife, Cindy, Springville; two brothers, Roy and Randy, both of Springville; five grandchildren, Ryan, Leonna, Andrea and Cassandra Noble and Leighanne Warner; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Ida Bell Noble.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Charles H. Litwin Funeral Home, 91 State St., Nicholson, with services by the Rev. John Shaffer. Interment will be at the Lynn Cemetery.

A viewing is scheduled for Saturday from 11 until service time.

Memorial donations may be made to the Springville Fire Company or the Springville Ladies Auxiliary.
