Florence J. Miller, 91, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died Saturday at the Linwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She and her husband, Russell Niles Miller, celebrated 67 years of marriage at the time of his death on Jan. 16, 2012.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Walter Blaszkiewicz and the late Anna Savage Blaszkiewicz Loyola, she was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and a member of St. Peter's Cathedral. She enjoyed bowling and bowled with her husband with the Senior Citizens Bowling League at the South Side Lanes. Before retirement, she worked in the garment industry.
She loved spending time with her husband, she enjoyed each day of their 67 years together.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Linwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for all the kind and thoughtful care they gave to Florence.
Surviving are nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Bartnicki.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter's Cathedral, 315 Wyoming Ave., Scranton. Inurnment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
There will be no public calling hours. Those attending the funeral Mass are asked to go directly to the church.
