Robert H. (Bob) Davis, 86, of Madison Twp., died Friday afternoon at Regional Hospital of Scranton following a lengthy illness.

Born June 13, 1927, in Scranton, son of the late Hosie and Mildred Evans Davis of Scranton and Elmhurst, Bob was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and worked for U.S. Textile and Protection Services Inc. of Scranton before retiring in 1993.

He was a skilled carpenter, and one of his hobbies was making intricate wood projects. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly, and always mentioned them in conversation.

The family would like to thank the fifth-floor skilled nursing unit, "Spirit of Mercy," for their loving care and compassion.
