Walter E. Musial, 64, of Archbald, died peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends Sunday, Feb. 2. He was the husband of Lynn (Brozina) Musial. They were married for 42 years.

Walter was born in Archbald, Pa., on Sept. 19, 1949, a son of the late Mary Claire (McHale) and Walter Musial Sr. He attended Archbald High School and was formerly employed as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He was employed at Gillen Coal Co., Gould Battery and the Keystone Landfill. He was a member of Black Diamond Hose Company 2, Archbald.

Walter was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and Valley View sports, but above all, he loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Dr. Lori Williams and the staff of Traditional Hospice for the loving and compassionate care they gave Walter during his battle with cancer.

Also surviving are three daughters, Michelle Czarkowski and husband, Tom, Clarks Summit; Jennifer Bossick and husband, Chris, Jermyn; and Carrie Antenori and husband, Dave, Clarks Summit; a son, Walter, Archbald; six grandchildren, Peter Gentile, Ava and Kate Czarkowski, Carli and Jenna Bossick and James Musial; a sister, Joann Rohrbach, Jessup; a brother, Robert and wife, Mary Musial, Archbald; brother-in-law, Mark Balmer, Greenfield Twp.; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia "Tisha" Balmer; and a brother-in-law, Billy Rohrbach.

The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Harrison Funeral Home, 374 N. Main St., Archbald, with services by Deacon Ed Kelly. Cremation will be held at Maple Hill Crematory. Interment, Archbald Cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.
