Valita (Rose Kvasnak) Krashnak, age 93, formerly of Plymouth, passed into eternal rest on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at Abington Manor, Clarks Summit, Pa.

Born on Sept. 27, 1920, in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Agnes Kushinski. She was a graduate of Plymouth High School, and a devoted member of All Saints Parish, the former St. Mary's Nativity Church, Plymouth. She was a member of St. Mary's Senior Citizens Friendship Club.
Throughout her life, she loved cooking and baking for her family. She enjoyed playing cards and taking trips to Atlantic City. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Leo Krashnak; son, Leo Krashnak Jr.; brothers, Paul, Joseph, Clem and Peter; and sisters, Marie, Jennie, Stella, Caroline, Florence and Sophie.
Surviving are her loving children, Robert Krashnak and his wife, Joan, Swoyersville; Linda Hayward and her husband, Paul, St. Augustine, Fla.; and Susan Colborn and her husband, Sterling, Clarks Summit; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. from the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 at All Saints Parish, 66 Willow St., Plymouth. Interment will be at St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery, Plymouth Twp.
Family and friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
