Rachelle Bianchi Paulic, 83, of Jessup, died Sunday morning at Geisinger Community Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Bianchi, the father of her three children. She married her second husband, John Paulic, in 1983.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Antonio and Angelina DeSanto Fortunato, she graduated from Scranton Technical School and Lackawanna College. She was a seamstress and worked at Barbizon. She was raised in the Bunker Hill section of Scranton and spent the majority of her life in Eynon and Jessup. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the ILGWU.
She had a passion for cooking, shopping and traveling, and loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are a son, Carl Bianchi and wife, Catherine, Olyphant; two daughters, Lisa Stender and husband, Raymond, Jessup; and Gina Glucksnis and husband, Brett, Jessup; a brother, Benjamin Fortunato, Scranton; four grandchildren, Tim Williams and Austin, Auri and Alex Glucksnis; and two great-grandchildren, Julian and Mia Williams.
The funeral will be Wednesday from the Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, 511 Church St. Jessup, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Parish, St. Patrick's Church, Olyphant. Interment will be at St. Francis Cemetery, Eynon.
