Peter Paul Kobeski Jr., 67, of Taylor, died Tuesday at Geisinger Community Medical Center after a long illness.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Peter and Ann Kuchka Kobeski, he was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and was employed by SSH, Cincinnati Galvanized and retired from the former Anemostat. He was an avid New York Yankees and Giants fan and enjoyed fishing, especially trout season and summer drives in his classic Cadillac.

He is survived by four sisters, Evelyn Reed and husband, Sterling; Romaine Marinelli and husband, Joseph; Barbara Klink and husband, Ronald, all of Scranton; and Nancy Conte and husband, Richard, Clarks Summit; an uncle, Jack Kuchka, Scranton; a niece and several nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral will be Friday with Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Paul of the Cross Parish in Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church, Prospect Avenue, South Scranton. Interment will follow in Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Cemetery, Minooka section.
