Cynthia C. Taylor, 69, of Meshoppen, died Friday at Hospice of the Scared Heart, Scranton. Her husband of 51 years is William Taylor.

Born in Nanticoke on July 27, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Genevieve Allen Robbins. Cynthia devoted her life to her family and grandchildren. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed the outdoors. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kathy Greenip and husband, Erik, Falls; brothers, Wesley Robbins and wife, Waneta, Muhlenburg; and Christopher Robbins and wife, Sandy, Shickshinny; sisters, Hannah Alar, Sweet Valley; and Loretta Hauk and husband, Wayne, Shickshinny; grandsons, Zachary Greenip and Mark, Nathan and Erik Taylor; granddaughter, Lindsay Greenip; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a son, William Taylor Jr.; and sister, Leslie Daum.
A memorial service will be Wednesday at 4 p.m. from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, by Pastor John Mosley of Assembly of God Church in Nanticoke.
Friends and family may call Wednesday from 2 until the time of the service. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
