Rose Mary Santarelli Patuk, 79, of Jessup, died Saturday at Moses Taylor Hospital after an illness. Her husband of 59 years is Michael Patuk.

Born in Peckville, daughter of the late Victor and Edith Ercolani Santarelli, she was a graduate of Jessup High School and employed in the local garment industry. She worked at H&S Dress and Barbizon Dress Factory, both of Jessup. She was a member of St. Mary's Assumption Church, Queen of Angels Parish and the ILGWU.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who loved cooking and baking for her family, bingo and trips to the casinos.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Moses Taylor Hospital, especially the ICU staff, for all of their kindness and compassion.
Also surviving are two sons, Michael and wife, Lynne; and Bryan, all of Jessup; a daughter, Karen Frankosky and husband, John, Jermyn; brothers, Victor Santarelli Jr., Jessup; and James Santarelli, Moosic Lakes; a sister, Marion Martin and husband, Joe, Eynon; and three grandchildren, John Frankosky and Michael and Larissa Patuk; nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Joan Gombar; a brother-in-law, Edward Gombar; and an infant brother and sister.
The funeral will be Thursday from the Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, 511 Church St., Jessup, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Church, Jessup. Interment, St. John's Cemetery, Jessup.
