Grace Janette Jenkins, 85, of Clarks Summit, died Sunday evening at home. She was the widow of Paul Jenkins, who died in 1999.

Born in Newton, daughter of the late Hice and Bessie Singer LaCoe, she was a graduate of Newton-Ransom High School. For years, she worked at the Farmer's Cooperative Market with her brother, Bucky LaCoe. She was a member of Clarks Green Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Grace Fries and husband, Gary, Nicholson; Phyllis Jenkins, Clarks Summit; Kristin Reynolds and husband, Todd, Spring Brook Twp.; and Carol Demian, Olyphant; a son, Paul Jenkins and wife, Luci, Columbia, N.J.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Gilbert, Clayton, Allan and Norman LaCoe; and a sister, Annabelle Chapman.
The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Clarks Green Assembly of God Church, 204 S. Abington Road, Clarks Green, with services by the Rev. Glenn White, pastor. Interment, Abington Hills Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m., at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, and Thursday, from 10 until the service at the church.
