Agnes Miller, 71, of Throop, died Saturday at home surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren after a brief illness. She was the widow of John Miller Sr., who died May 18, 1995.

Born in Throop, daughter of the late Michael and Clara Bielawski Romanchick, she was educated in Throop schools. Before retirement, she was employed at Thomson Consumer Electronics, the former RCA. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Throop.
She was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her children, Cindy Yanish and husband, Mark, Dickson City; Theresa Ottone, Dickson City; John Miller and companion, Jackie Shubrick, Dickson City; and Kim Marie Wesolowski and husband, Anthony, Dupont; eight grandchildren, Kelly Ann Barron and David Barron Jr., Amanda Miller, Christopher, Sean and Jonathon Ottone, Michael and Derek Wesolowski; a great-granddaughter, Layla Barron; four sisters, Antoinette Rocco, Throop; Marie Derenick, Carbondale; Julie Lisko, Throop; Claire Romanchick, Peckville; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara James and Rosalie Bronson; and a brother, Michael Romanchick.
A memorial Mass will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church, 215 Rebecca St., Throop. Burial, St. Anthony's Cemetery, Dickson City.
