Angelo D. Sellano, 85, a resident of Clarks Summit, passed away peacefully Saturday at Regional Hospital of Scranton after a long-term battle with heart disease. He was married for 61 years to the former Ann Marie "Nancy" Fiorini.
Angelo was born in Scranton in 1929, a son of the late Domenic and Anna Cardoni Sellano. He graduated from both Scranton Central High School and the University of Scranton.
He remained an active member of the University's Alumni Association his entire life. After growing up in South Scranton, Angelo moved to Clarks Summit, where he lived for 50 years. During that time, Angelo has been a faithful member of St. Gregory's Parish, Clarks Green.
Also surviving are a son, Richard Sellano, Philadelphia; and a sister, Victoria Graham, Oneonta, N.Y.
