Beatrice R. Dalykas, Scranton, died Tuesday at Geisinger Community Medical Center after an illness.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late George and Amelia Sincavage Dalykas, she was educated in Scranton schools and worked in the local garment industry. She was a member of Providence of God Lithuanian National Catholic Church.
The family would like to thank doctors Clay and Sanchez and the staff at GCMC ICU for their kindness and care at her time of need.
Surviving are a son, Richard and wife, Mary Ann; grandpups, Rocky and Schatzi; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was the last of her generation, being preceded by seven brothers, Vito, Phillip, George, Frank, Algerd, Anthony and Edward; and three sisters, Adella, Mary and Helen.
The funeral will be Saturday at noon in the Bomberger-Lesko Funeral Home Inc., 1660 N. Main Ave., with the Rev. Walter A. Placek, Ph.D., officiating.
Friends may call from 10 until service time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter.
