Kathleen Gotts, 57, of Duncannon and formerly of Forest City, died Thursday at Harrisburg Hospital.

Born April 1, 1957, daughter of Felix and Mary O'Koren Prezelski, Forest City, she was a member of Ascension Parish, graduated from Kutztown University and earned her master's degree from Bloomsburg University. Kathy worked for more than 34 years for Pennsylvania, supporting people with disabilities.

She was very musically inclined, playing the piano and clarinet. She sang, sewed and cooked, and was the author of the book "The Road Less Traveled." She loved her pets and all animals, and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Also surviving are two sisters, Patricia Prezelski, Honesdale; and Karen Schaefer and husband, Andrew, Binghamton; a nephew, Andrew; a niece, Stephanie; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main St., Forest City, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. Joseph's Church, Forest City. Interment will be private in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Friends may call Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m.
