Judith E. Engel Percival, formerly of Clarks Summit, died Sunday afternoon at her home in Scranton.

Born in Trenton, N.J., daughter of the late George and Emily V. Lotz Engel Perry, she was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She was employed as a nurse and before retirement she was employed by Whitehaven Center. She attended Parker Hill Community Church and was a member of the Sierra Club.
She enjoyed gardening, all outdoor activities, was an avid Yankees fan, loved animal rescue and mostly enjoyed time with her family.
Surviving are two daughters, Virginia Cashuric and her husband, Joe, Factoryville; and Suzanne Percival, Rockaway, N.J.; a son, David Percival and his wife, Tracy, Rockaway, N.J.; two sisters, Beth Perry, Clarks Summit; and Suzanne Perry-Friedman, Loudonville, N.Y.; grandchildren, Kimberly, Michele and Melissa Myerski, Michelle Carichner, Julia and David Gallacher, Rachel, Ronnie and Ryan Percival; a great-granddaughter; and several nephews.
The memorial service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Parker Hill Community Church Clarks Summit Campus. Visitation with the family will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
