Jean P. Hager, 71, formerly of Tunkhannock, died Wednesday morning at the Hampton House, Hanover Twp.

Born in Kingston on Aug. 10, 1942, daughter of the late Eugene and Grace (Taylor) Troutman, Jean was employed by Weis Markets before retirement. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 7069, Clarks Summit.
Surviving are her daughters, Eileen Hager, Hanover Twp.; and Suzanne Floyd, Ashley; stepson, Joseph Hager, Montrose; stepdaughter, Kathleen Hager, New Jersey; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Troutman and his wife, Stasha, Sedona, Ariz.; and sister, Gale Regelski and husband, Ronald, Hunlock Creek.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, John C. Hager, on April 23, 2012; a son, Richard A. DeRemer; a brother, Terry Troutman; and twin sister, Joyce Cohen.
Services will be Saturday at 4 p.m. at Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, 465 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, with Celebrant Rynell Guy officiating.
Friends may call Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m.
