Edward J. Greskovic, 78, of Dickson City, died Tuesday morning at the Green Ridge Health Care Center, Scranton. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Joan M. Carroll, who died Dec. 21.

Born in Peckville, son of the late Joseph and Genevieve Mozeleski Greskovic, he was a member of St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City. He was educated in St. Mary's Parochial School, served with the Army and was employed by Chamberlain Corp., Scranton, before retirement.

Edward was a loving and caring father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, who enjoyed bowling, doing word puzzles, hunting, fishing, watching polkas and the news and sitting on his porch. He deeply cared for his family, and he will be missed by all of them.

Surviving are a daughter, Nicole Greskovic, Dickson City; a son, Michael Greskovic and wife, Kathryn, Olyphant; two grandchildren, Bryanne Gilgallon and husband, John, Dunmore; and Kelsey Greskovic, Olyphant; two great-grandchildren, Brayden and Kali Gilgallon; a sister, Jean Wilkins, Stroudsburg; nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass will be offered on Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City. Anyone attending should go directly to the church. Arrangements are by the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City.
