Paulette Ann Massakowski, 55, of Feasterville, formerly of Shickshinny, died Sunday. She was the beloved wife of Edward A. Massakowski. The couple was married for 33 years.

Born in Berwick, daughter of the late Leo and Dolores Mikelski, she graduated from Northwest Area High School. She attended Bloomsburg University, receiving her B.S. in medical technology. She attended Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science, receiving her master's degree in business administration. She was employed at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania from 1984 to 2008, most recently in the role of business manager in the department of pathology and laboratory medicine.

She loved cooking and gardening, and was passionate about her family and pets.

She is survived by her sister, Annmarie Mikelski, Del Rio, Texas; her brother, Leo Mikelski, Napa, Calif.; aunt, Mary Ann Mikelski, Plains; uncle, William Mikelski and his wife, Theresa, Plains; her sisters-in-law, Carolyn and Eleanor; five nieces and nephews; and by all who knew her.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass on Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Christopher Church, Philadelphia. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
