Pearl Bryk, 82, of Dupont, died Tuesday at her home. Her husband, Joseph Bryk, died July 11, 1993.

Born in Plains on Jan. 31, 1932, daughter of the late George and Isabel Griffiths Perrins, Pearl was a member of St. John's Primitive Methodist Church, Avoca. She was a graduate of Dupont High School. Pearl was a member of the Dupont Senior Citizens Club.
Pearl was a very generous, kind and caring person who loved life. She enjoyed traveling, was an avid reader, but most of all she loved being with her family, friends and her dogs. She will be deeply missed.
Surviving are her daughter, Janice and husband, Daniel Coviello, Dupont; siblings, Ruth Gattuso, Yatesville; Robert and wife, Ann, Duryea; and Paul and wife, Sandra, Dupont; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, George, Arthur, Joseph, Samuel, Russell and Phillip; and sisters, Elizabeth Francis, Sarah Bisbing and Eleanor Perrins.
Pearl's family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Timber Ridge Health Care Center during Pearl's brief stay and also much gratitude to the nurses and staff of Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea, with the Rev. Dale Pepper of St. John's Primitive Methodist Church, Avoca, officiating and the Rev. Samuel Perrins concelebrating services. Interment will be held the Marcy Cemetery, Duryea.
